Another fun-filled summer season of Rock the Roof has come and gone. For 10 consecutive Thursday nights this summer, our popular Rock the Roof series once again entertained thousands at the Roof Garden. Check out all the photos from the 2011 season courtesy of Barbara Lancaster.
The Velaires started their careers in Sioux City as The Screamers. Quickly their name became The Flairs, but with numerous groups on the scene with that same name they became The Velaires after playing in the legendary Val Air Ballroom in Des Moines.
